The virtual fence is an intangible perimeter placed around a physical location. Just like a real fence, it separates that area from the surrounding area. In addition, it can also detect motion and many other data within its boundary.

How to create virtual fences on R4 Monitoring:

  • In the dedicated section, draw a circle covering the area of the company to be monitored;
  • If there are multiple establishments of the same client, you can create multiple fences;
  • Activate the view-only profile to the client who requested it.

The virtual fence binds to the geographical area, not the machinery itself. Therefore, there is no need to enter serial or badge numbers, or to bring only certain equipment to a customer. This is a great convenience, because all it takes is for your fleet to be equipped with R4 Monitoring to be detected by your virtual fences.

You and your client will receive the following alerts:

  • Machinery entry-exit from the relevant virtual fence;
  • Fullness;
  • Sudden failures.

Other benefits relate to optimizing work for you, your employees and the people you work with. Virtual fences, in fact, give the guarantee that only truly necessary trips are made and that the delivered compactors are always in perfect order.

The “virtual fences” option is exclusive to R4 Monitoring!
